DAY 1:    AIRPORT - NEGOMBO
Arrival to Colombo International Airport and welcome by Sri Lanka Express representative and chauffeur guide at the airport arrival lobby. Transfer directly to Negombo. (20 minutes’ drive) Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner (Optional) & overnight stay at JETWING BEACH, NEGOMBO (Deluxe Room)

DAY 2:    NEGOMBO - KITULGALA
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Kitulgala. (03 hours’ drive).
The Kelani River flowing through Kitulgala was the main location where the Oscar winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed.  On the hill above this town, a prehistoric cave was discovered containing large middens of shells from some unknown civilization. Kitulgala is also a base for white-water rafting and adventure based training programmes, which starts a few kilometers upstream.

Enjoy a white water rafting expedition. Transfer to the hotel & check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3:    KITULGALA
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning enjoy another white water rafting expedition in Kelani River. Thereafter enjoy canyoning (rock sliding) in a small waterfall nearby. Lunch & dinner (Optional).

DAY 4:    KITULGALA - KANDY
Proceed to Kandy. (2h30 drive)
Visit Kandy city which was the last capital of Sri Lanka and a World Heritage site. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798.  Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.

Thereafter visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic which stands majestically as a symbol of culture, faith and history in the Buddhist believe.   Attention – dress code applied (covering shoulders and knees). In the evening witness a cultural show featuring the traditional Sri Lankan dancing in many different acts where the show ends with some of the performers walking on the fire and making final act using fire. Transfer to the hotel & check-in. Dinner (optional) & overnight stay at TOPAZ HOTEL, KANDY (Deluxe Room)

DAY 5:    KANDY – PINNAWALA – PERADENIYA – KANDY
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Pinnawala. (1 hour drive). Visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation where one gets the opportunity to do elephant walks, feeding and washing of elephants at this location. Transfer to Peradeniya and visit Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya.

Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens which is flanked by Mahaweli, the longest river of Sri Lanka is the largest of botanical gardens of Sri Lanka and the finest of its kind in Asia. It was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Return to the hotel.

DAY 6:    KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at hotel. Thereafter transfer to Kandy Railway Station and take the train up to Nanuoya on reserved seats (Availability of seats strictly subject to change). Enjoy a stunning train ride up to Nanu oya towards hill country through the tea plantations, into the clouds and then weaves in and out of the many mountain tunnels. Disembark at Nanuoya Railway Station.

Continue to Nuwara Eliya. (30 minutes drive by the road). Transfer & check-in to the hotel.
Dinner (optional) & overnight stay at ST ANDREWS, NUWARA ELIYA (Superior Room)

DAY 7:    NUWARA ELIYA – TISSAMAHARAMA
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Tissamaharama. (4h30 drive). Arrival & check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive to Yala National Park by safari jeep (4X4). Yala national park which is considered as the second largest national park in Sri Lanka and is the home of wild elephants, wild boar, wild buffalo, leopards, bear, deer and Crocodiles. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
Overnight stay at CHAARYA RESORT & SPA, TISSAMAHARAMA (Deluxe Room)

DAY 8:    TISSAMAHARAMA
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, enjoy 2nd game drive to Yala National Park.

DAY 9:    TISSAMAHARAMA – GALLE - BENTOTA
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Galle  (3h30/4h drive). Visit the majestic fort that stood since 16th Century which has been named an Archeological Reserve by UNESCO. Galle was once the chief port of Ceylon. It is still well known for hand-made lace. You can visit the Galle Fort (spanning 90 acres) which was originally
built by the Portuguese.  Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Continue to Bentota. (01 hour drive approximately via highway). Transfer to the hotel & check-in.
Overnight stay at CENTARA CEYSANDS, BENTOTA (Superior Room)

DAY 10-14:    BENTOTA
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day free to relax on the beach. (Guide & vehicle not available during beach stay)
Dinner & overnight stay at CENTARA CEYSANDS, BENTOTA (Superior Room)

DAY 15:    BENTOTA - AIRPORT
Breakfast at hotel. Full day free to relax on the beach. 
Finally transfer to Bandaranayke International Airport for the departure flight.
