DAY 1: ARUSHA
On arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our customer care representative who will give you an overview of your safari as you are transferred to the Ilboru Safari Lodge in Arusha for check in and overnight stay.
Arusha, the gateway to the world-famous game sanctuaries of Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara, is one of the oldest towns in Tanzania. From a tiny German garrison in 1900, Arusha has grown to become the tourist capital of Tanzania with a population of about 400,000 people. At 1,540 metres above sea level, Arusha enjoys a very agreeable climate throughout the year. Positioned at the centre of Africa between the Cape and Cairo on the Great North Road, Arusha is the administrative seat of the East African Community made up of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

DAY 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
0700hrs. After breakfast, you depart for Tarangire National Park where you will arrive in time for a mid-morning game drive enroute to the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for check in and lunch. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive till dusk when you return to your lodge.
Tarangire is a park of giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland. Home of the rare tree-climbing pythons, this park offers the best accommodation during the dry season. Due to the existence of the Tarangire River, thousands of animals make their way to this park in search of water. It is in this 2,850 sq. Km park that you are very likely to encounter Lions, Leopards, Zebras, Buffaloes, Wildebeest among others. And just like many parks in Tanzania, this one also has an abundant array of 550 or more species of birds setting the stage to an incredible bird watching experience.

DAY 3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – LAKE MANYARA - KARATU
0700hrs. After breakfast, you depart for Lake National Park where you will arrive in time for a morning game drive with picnic lunches in the wild. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Karatu town for check in at the Bougainvillea Safari Lodge
Tucked below the majesty of the Rift Valley wall, Lake Manyara National Park consists of a thin green band of forest, flanked by the sheer 600 m high red and brown cliffs of the escarpment on one side and by the white-hot shores of an ancient soda lake on the other. Acacia woodland shelters the park’s famous tree climbing lions, lying languidly among the branches in the heat of the day. Lake Manyara safaris offers many unique views including elephant, giraffe, buffalo and wildebeest can be found grazing in unexpected clearings or heading towards the water to drink or wash, and the rivers and riverbeds provide scenic vistas for possible animal spotting. Warthog seem to thrive here, growing notably fat and tuskered, and it is a natural playground for baboons and monkeys. Later on in the afternoon, you will be transferred to which stands on the edge of the escarpment, overlooking the lake.

DAY 4: KARATU - NGORONGORO NAT. CONSERVATION AREA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
0730hrs. After your breakfast, you will check out of your lodge depart with picnic lunchboxes for a morning Ngorongoro Crater tour. This area’s main attraction is the Ngorongoro Crater, fondly known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. A candidate for the new Seven Wonders of the World, this massive crater holds its own in that category. Being the world’s largest unbroken caldera, Ngorongoro is home to over 25,000 animals. It is considered one of the best game viewing spots in the world with a chance to see the big five, zebras and wildebeests. The crater holds almost every individual species of wildlife in East Africa including the extremely rare and critically endangered Black Rhino.
Later in the afternoon after your picnic lunch at the floor of the crater, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, where you will arrive in time for an evening game drive enroute to the Serengeti Kati Kati Camp for check in and overnight stay.

DAY 5 & 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
You will spend the whole day in the Serengeti National Park with both the morning and evening game drives.
Optionally at an extra cost, at 0630 hrs- Take the opportunity to fly over the Serengeti in a Hot air Balloon provided at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience
Serengeti is the stage on which the most spectacular wonders of nature takes place, the Great Migration. It is on this park that millions of ungulates comprising of wildebeests and zebras make that all important trek from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. But that’s not all the Serengeti has to offer, it boasts the largest and highest concentration of wildlife in the world. Spanning an impressive 15,000 sq km area, this savannah is home to all the members of the Big 5, the splendid cheetah, gazelles, African wild dog, giraffes and approximately 500 species of bird, making it a bird watchers paradise as well.

DAY 7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - ARUSHA
Wake up at sunrise for your last game drive; who knows, you may even see some wildlife that you hadn't seen before. Return to your camp for breakfast and collect your bags then depart for Arusha with picnic lunch boxes enroute. Your arrive Arusha later in the afternoon for check in at the Ilboru Safari Lodge then spend the evening at leisure. Dinner shall be served at your hotel.

DAY 8: DEPART
After your breakfast, depending on your flight schedule you will transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your departure flight back home or onward travel.
